Hello and Welcome to our Stamp It Group – THANKSGIVING Theme Blog Hop! My name is JaNette Howard and you are visiting my blog – Let’s Get Inky – JaNette Howard.  Whether you’re starting from my blog or another blog on the tour, thank you for letting me share my card with you today. Today’s post features the Stampin’ Up!® Painted Pheasant and Pretty Prints Designer Series Paper (DSP).

Measurements: Stamp It Group – Thanksgiving Theme Blog Hop

  • Crumb Cake cardstock, cut at
    • 7 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″
    • 4 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ and score at 1/2″
    • scraps for die cutting
  • Cajun Craze cut at 5 3/8″ x 3 1/8″
  • Pretty Prints DSP cut two at 4 1/8″ x 3 5/8″ and one at 5 3/8″ x 3 1/8″
  • Very Vanilla cardstock cut at
    • 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″,
    • 3″ x 1″
    • 3 3/4″ x 3 3/4″ for stamping
    • scraps for die cutting

Adhere the 4 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ Crumb Cake piece to the 4 1/4″ side of the 7 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ card base. Stamp the inside 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ Very Vanilla layer and adhere to inside, covering the 1/2″ Crumb Cake cardstock. Cut the Pretty Prints DSP layers and adhere to front & inside layers. Take the Cajun Craze cardstock & the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder and run through die cutting machine. Adhere to front of card.

Die cut the Wheat border and Wheat using the Wheat Dies in Crumb Cake cardstock. Add Very Vanilla cardstock behind the wheat and adhere all pieces to the Pretty Prints DSP to the front of the card. Stamp the Pheasant on Very Vanilla cardstock and color using Watercolor Pencils. Fussy cut the image and add dimensionals to prop up. Die cut sentiment label from the Stylish Shapes Dies, stamp sentiment using Cajun Craze ink and add deminionals to prop up.

Stamp the grass on the inside layer in Crumb Cake ink & the leaves in Cajun Craze ink.

    You are so talented! I’m glad you showed your Halloween card as I remember how you used the ribbon as cobwebs.

    Love the color combination. The pheasant looks like he is ready to step off the card. Awesome work.
