Hello and Welcome, all my stamping friends! Today’s blog, Christmas Cottage Wreath on Black and White, features the Stampin’ Up!® Cottage Wreaths Bundle and Gingham Cottage Designer Series Paper (DSP). The Cottage Wreaths Bundle is a wonderful bundle that can be used for several seasons or occasions. I’ll be sharing one more card, which is your favorite Red or Black? This is the fifth card in the series, showcasing this amazing bundle.

Christmas Cottage Wreath on Black and White

Measurements

  • Thick Basic White cardstock, cut at 11″ x 4 1/4″ and score at 5 1/2″
  • Basic Black cardstock cut one at 5 1/4″ x 4″ & one at 4 1/4″ x 3 1/4″
  • Gingham Cottage DSP, cut at 4″ x 3″
  • Basic White cardstock, cut at 5″ x 3 3/4″ and extra for stamping & die cutting
  • Real Red cardstock
  • White Glimmer Paper
  • White Glittered Organdy Ribbon
  • Classic Matte Dots
  1. Take Thick Basic White cardbase and adhere the Basic Black layer (5 1/4″ x 4″).
  2. Then use the Basic White cardstock (5″ x 3 3/4″) with the Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder and run through the Embossing Machine. Take Memento Black ink and lightly go over embossed layer. Adhere layers to card base.
  3. Next adhere the other Basic Black layer (4 1/4″ x 3 1/4″) & Gingham Cottage DSP (4″ x 3″) to the embossed layer on card base.
  4. Stamp wreath image using Garden Green ink & die cut using the Country Wreaths dies. Adhere the White Glittered Organdy Ribbon, add Stampin Dimensionals to wreath and attach DSP. Die cut bow using Country Wreaths Dies from White Glimmer paper and adhere using Glue Dots. Die cut sentiment from the Stylish Shapes Dies, stamp the sentiment and add Stampin Dimensionals. Add White Matte Dots to wreath.
