It’s The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year
Hello and Welcome, all my stamping friends! Merry Christmas in July! Today’s blog post, It’s The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year. If you haven’t guested by now, well it’s Christmas in July time. I chose the Stampin’Up!® Christmas Barn Bundle and Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper (DSP), which has so many other possibilities. I love old barns and sleighs, especially at Christmas!
It’s The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year
Measurements:
- Shaded Spruce cardstock:
- Cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″ & 2 1/8″ for card base
- Cut at 2 5/8″ x 5 1/2″ for layering
- Cut four at 2 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ and score at each 1/2″ for image support
- Celebrate Everything DSP (HOST) cut at 2 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
- Basic White cardstock for stamping barn, trees and sleigh
- Crumb Cake cardstock for die cutting fence
Stamp the barn using Memento Black ink and color with Soft Suede & Real Red Stampin’ Blends. Add Snowfall Accents Puff Paint to roof and heat set with Heat Tool. Stamp the wreath using Stampin’ Write markers Garden Green & Real Red and attached to barn with Round & Square Brads. Next stamp the trees using Evening Evergreen classic ink. Then stamp the sleigh in Memento Black ink and color using Smoky Slate, Real Red, Starry Sky & Garden Green Stampin’ Blends. Color the sleigh with Versamark ink, sprinkle Gold Embossing Powder and heat set with the Heat Tool. Die cut the fence using Soft Suede cardstock, add Snowfall Accents Puff Paint and heat set with Heat Tool.
Die cut the images using the Barn Dies and Stampin’ Cut Emboss Machine. Burnish the four Basic White cardstock supports into rectangles and adhere to card base. Add all die cut images in between rows and glue in place. Stamp the sentiment in Versamark ink, add Gold Embossing Powder and heat set with Heat Tool. Fussy cut the sentiment using your paper snips. Add a strip of Shaded Spruce cardstock behind the sentiment and adhere to front of card.
