Hello and Welcome, all my stamping friends! Today’s blog post, Let’s Celebrate A Splendid Day, uses the Stampin’Up!® Splendid Day Suite Collection from the New Mini Catalog July-December 2022. This Suite Collection can be used in many different ways and for lots of occasions. The Splendid Day 12×12 Designer Series Paper (DSP) is beautiful with foils on one side and colors on the other side. This is Card #3 in a four card series.

Measurements:

  • Petal Pink card base, cut at 8 1/2″x 5 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″ 
  • Basic White cardstock cut at 3″ x 4 1/2″
  • Soft Seafoam cardstock cut at 2 1/2″ x 1 1/2″
  • Splendid Day Specialty DSP four different designs cut at 2 1/2″ x 1 1/2″, pay attention to the direction of your paper
  • Soft Sea Foam Ribbon about 12″

Recipe:

  • Starting with the Petal Pink card base, randomly stamp the leaf image using Petal Pink ink.
  • Basic White cardstock, using your paper snips, distress the edges and turn the corners up.
  • Wrap Soft Seafoam Ribbon around the distressed Basic White cardstock and tie in a knot shifted to the left side.
  • Use your Stampin’ Cut Embossing Machine and the Splendid Stems Dies to cut 4 half moons from the 4 different pieces of DSP.
  • Adhere the positive shapes to the distressed Basic White cardstock using Stampin’ Seal or your favorite adhesive. Save those negative pieces for another card I’ll share later.
  • Stamp the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on the Soft Seafoam cardstock. Die cut using the Stylish Shapes Dies & Stampin’ Cut Emboss Machine. Adhere to the front of card using Stampin’ Dimensionals to prop up.
