Hello and Welcome, all my stamping friends! Today’s blog post, A Splendid Day To Remember, uses the Stampin’Up!® Splendid Day Suite Collection from the New Mini Catalog July-December 2022. This Suite Collection can be used in many different ways and for lots of occasions. The Splendid Day 12×12 Designer Series Paper (DSP) is beautiful with foils on one side and colors on the other side. This is Card #4 of the four card series. I hope that you loved these cards!

Measurements:

  • Basic White cardstock cut at 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″ for card base
  • Calypso Coral cardstock cut at2″ x 5/8″
  • Soft Seafoam cardstock cut at 3 3/4″ x 4 1/2″
  • The negative pieces from Card #3, die cut half moons using the Splendid Day DSP
  • Splendid Day DSP cut three at 1 1/4″ x 2″ using different colors/patterns

Recipe:

  • Take the Soft Seafoam cardstock, use your Blending Brush and Soft Seafoam Classic Ink to color about half the cardstock at an angle starting in the bottom right hand corner and working up. Then take Versamark Ink with the solid leaf image and stamp randomly on the Soft Seafoam cardstock. Cover with White Stampin Emboss Powder and heat set with the Heat Tool.
  • Adhere the negative half-moon shapes using Mini Dimensionals to the Soft Seafoam embossed card.
  • Die cut the three leaves from the selected Splendid Day DSP using different colors/patterns. Glue the stems only on the end stem and tuck under the half-moon die cuts as shown. Stamp the sentiment on the Calypso Coral cardstock, use Versamark Ink, cover with White Stampin Emboss Powder and heat set with the Heat Tool.
  • Finally, use Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the Soft Seafoam cardstock and adhere to the Basic White card base.
