Stamp It Group – Valentines Day Blog Hop!

Hello and Welcome to our Stamp It Group – Valentines Day Blog Hop! My name is JaNette Howard and you are visiting my blog – Let’s Get Inky – JaNette Howard.  Whether you’re starting from my blog or another blog on the tour, thank you for letting me share my card with you today. Today’s post features a pop up fun fold card using the Stampin’ Up!® Country Bouquet stamp set and punch.

Measurements – Stamp It Group – Valentines Day Blog Hop!

  • Sweet Sorbet cardstock cut at one at 11″ x 4 1/4″ and score at 5 1/2″, 6 3/4″, 8 3/4″ & 10″
    • and one at 5 5/8″ x 3″ and score at 3/8″ & 1 5/8″
  • Petal Pink cardstock cut one each at:
    • 5 1/4″ x 4″
    • 2 3/4″ x 1″
    • 3 3/4″ x 2 3/4″
    • 4″ x 1 3/4″
  • Brights Designer Series Paper cut one each at:
    • 5″ x 3 3/4″
    • 3 3/4″ x 3/4″
    • 3 3/4″ x 1 1/2″
  • Bee Mine Designer Series Paper 2 1/2″ x 3/4″ & 2 1/2″ x 3 1/2″
  • Basic White cardstock (2) 5 1/4″ x 4″
  • 2022-2024 In Color Baker’s Twine about 6″

Instructions:

  1. Start by making crisp folds using your bone folder on both Sweet Sorbet card bases.
  2. On the 2nd card base, adhere all Petal Pink & DSP layers first.
  3. On the 1st card base fold on the 2nd score line, then add adhesive to 1st score line and fold onto layers.
  4. On the 2nd card base, add adhesive on the smallest score line, fold on the 2nd score line and line up to the top of the large card base, then adhere.
  5. Next add adhesive to bottom and adhere to card base.
  6. Stamp the heart images & sentiment from the Country Bouquet stamp set. Use Petal Pink, Sweet Sorbet & Old Olive ink.
  7. Punch the medium hearts using the Country Bouquet Punch & fussy cut the largest heart. Adhere with multipurpose glue & glue dots.
  8. Add sentiment & bling.

Stamp sentiment & hearts on Basic White cardstock and adhere to back of card.

  1. The Sweet Sorbet is not a color I would have chosen but you pulled your card design together with your use of the color. It is a nice and fresh use of color the way you used it.
