Time For A Sparkling Lemon-Lime
Hello and Welcome, all my stamping friends! This weeks blog, Time For A Sparkling Lemon-Lime is using a fun and different kind of stamp set that would work for anyone. It’s another Online Exclusive using the Stampin’Up!® Simply Sparkling Bundle and paired with Brights Designer Series Paper (DSP). This is Card No. 2 using this extra bubbly bundle.
Measurements – Time For A Sparkling Lemon-Lime
- Lemon Lime Twist cardstock cut at 11″ x 4 1/4″ and score at 5 1/2″
- Basic White cardstock cut two at 5 1/4″ x 4″, one at 4 1/2″ x 3″ & scrap
- Subtles DSP cut at 3 3/4″ x 2″
- Bright & Beautiful DSP
- Brights DSP cut at 3 3/4″ x 3″
- Sheer Ribbon Combo Pack cut to 5″ length
Start by layering Basic White cardstock, Brights DSP, Subtles DSP and ribbon. Die cut Basic White cardstock using the Deckled Rectangle Dies, then stamp the Fizzie using Lemon Lime Twist ink and adhere using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Die cut the soda can using the Bright & Beautiful DSP and stamp fizzie image using Lemon Lime Twist ink. Stamp sentiment using Versamark ink, sprinkle with White Embossing Powder and set with Heat Tool.
Stamp a lemon & lime, then color using Lemon Lolly & Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Blends. Die cut the lemon & lime and adhere to soda can using your favorite adhesive. Use a Foam Ahesive Sheet to adhere to the stamped Basic White layer. Stamp straw using Lemon Lolly ink and die cut using coordinating dies. Add Adhesive-Backed Sequins for bling.
Stamp the lime on the Basic White inside layer, color using Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Blends, then stamp a lemon on another piece of Basic White cardstock, color using Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blends and die cut and adhere partially over the lime. Add strip of Brights DSP and adhere to inside of card.
