Time For A Refreshing Orange Soda

Hello and Welcome, all my stamping friends! This weeks blog, Time For A Refreshing Orange Soda, is using a fun and different kind of stamp set that would work for anyone. It’s another Online Exclusive using the Stampin’Up!® Simply Sparkling Bundle and paired with Brights Designer Series Paper (DSP). This is Card No.1 using this extra bubbly bundle.

Measurements – Time For A Refreshing Orange Soda

  • Thick Basic White cardstock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″
  • Brights DSP cut one at 5″ x 3 3/4″ & one at 3 1/2″ x 3″
  • Basic White cardstock cut one at 4 1/2″ x 3 1/4″ & one at 4″ x 2″
  • Pumpkin Pie cardstock cut at 2″ x 1 1/2″

Start by stamping the soda can image using Memento Black ink on Basic White cardstock. Color using Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends layering color until your happy with it and then die cut the soda can. Stamp the straw using Pumpkin Pie ink on Basic White cardstock and die cut. Die cut the bubbles from the Brights DSP. Using the Embossing Buddy go over the Pumpkin Pie cardstock.

Stamp the sentiment using Pumpkin Pie ink first and then Versamark ink. Sprinkle Clear Embossing Powder over the stamped image and set with Heat Tool. Layer the Brights DSP & Basic White cardstock onto the Thick Basic White card base. Adhere the bubbles on the Basic White layer. Add an Adhesive Sheet or use Stampin’ Dimensionals attached to the soda can, adhere to card base and then adhere bubbles to the soda can. Finally, fussy cut the sentiment, add Stampin’ Dimensionals and adhere to card front.
