Stamp It Group – Christmas Theme Blog Hop!
Hello and Welcome to our Stamp It Group – Christmas Theme Blog Hop! My name is JaNette Howard and you are visiting my blog – Let’s Get Inky – JaNette Howard. Whether you’re starting from my blog or another blog on the tour, thank you for letting me share my card with you today. Today’s post features the Stampin’ Up!® Merriest Trees Bundle and A Walk In The Forest DSP.
Measurements – Stamp It Group – Christmas Theme Blog Hop!
- A Walk In The Forest DSP cut at 11 1/2″ x 5 1/4″ and score at 4′, 6 3/4″, & 9 1/2″
- Pretty Peacock cardstock cut one at 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ and one at 9 1/2″ x 1 1/2″
- Real Red cardstock cut one at 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ and one at 3′ x 3″
- Basic White cardstock cut at 5 1/2″ x 5″
- Pecan Pie cardstock cut at 1 3/4″ x 1 1/2″
- Gold Foil Sheets cut at 3″ x 2″
Instructions:
- Adhere together, the Pretty Peacock cardbase and Real Red layers.
- Take A Walk In The Forest DSP (11 1/2″ x 5 1/4″), burnish scores well and adhere to Real Red layer.
- Stamp two tree images using Garden Green ink on the Basic White cardstock. Stamp off with inside tree image at full strength in Garden Green ink.
- Die cut the two trees using the 2nd and 3rd largest tree dies. Stamp the ornaments a couple times each and die cut. Die cut the stars & garland using Gold Foil Sheets.
- Adhere the garland, ornaments, star & base of tree to the larger tree and adhere to inside of card.
- Place belly band around card and adhere.
- Die cut Real Red cardstock with Deckled Circle Dies using the 6th smallest one, then adhere to belly band. Adhere the small die cut tree to the Real Red die cut.
- Using the Deckled Rectangles Dies with Basic White cardstock and 2nd largest die, die cut. Stamp the sentiment from Stars At Night stamp set using Real Red ink first then Versamark ink on top. Sprinkle Clear Embossing Powder & set with heat tool, finally adhering to inside card.
