Hello and Welcome, all my stamping friends! Today’s blog, Sweet Songbirds – A Great Day To Sing, features the Stampin’ Up!® Sweet Songbirds stamp set and In Color 2022-2024 Designer Series Paper (DSP). This is card 2 of this sweet little bird and steps it up a bit from the 1st one.

Measurements – Sweet Songbirds – A Great Day To Sing

• Thick Basic White card base, cut at 11″ x 4 1/4″ and score at 5 1/2″
• In Color 2022-2024 DSP cut at 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
• Basic White cardstock cut two at 4 3/4″ 3 1/2″ plus scrapes for stamping
• Crumb Cake cardstock cut at 2 1/4″ x 1 1/2″

Adhere DSP to Thick Basic White card base. Die cut Basic White cardstock (two 4 3/4″ x 3 1/2″) using Scalloped Contours Dies. Stamp branches, leaves and sign/sentiment. Next stamp the bird & wing and punch out using Songbird Builder Punch. Then stamp the birdnest using Crumb Cake ink on Crumb Cake cardstock and fussy cut. Add Dimensionals to scalloped die cut & bird and adhere to card front using Glue Dots. Adhere the birdnest. Add Iridescent Rhinestones.

On the Scalloped die cut, add a strip of DSP and stamp the bird and adhered to inside of card.
