Hello and Welcome, all my stamping friends! Today’s blog, Sweet Songbirds – A Heavenly Duet, features the Stampin’ Up!® Sweet Songbirds stamp set and Starry Sky & Pumpkin Pie Ink. This is a SIP card, stamp, ink and paper. This is a quick cute notecard that doesn’t get any easier. I’ll be sharing another example soon that steps it up a bit.

Sweet Songbirds – A Heavenly Duet

For this notecard, start with a Soft Sea Foam card base (8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″). Stamp the branch using Crumb Cake ink. Then stamp the leaves using Old Olive ink, birds feet Soft Suede and the birds in Starry Sky & Pumpkin Pie ink. Apply full strength on one & stamp off on the other to get the lighter color without needing other ink pads.
