Bringing in The Sheaves

Hello and Welcome, all my stamping friends! For today’s blog post, Bringing in The Sheaves, just wishing for cooler weather so I decided to make a few Fall cards. Maybe it’s not working, but I love the colors of Fall. Today, I’m featuring the Stampin’Up!® Gathered Wheat Bundle and Gingham Cottage Designer Serie Paper (DSP).

Measurements

  • Crushed Curry cardstock, cut at 4 1/4″ x 11″ and score at 4 1/4″ & 5 1/2″ for card base and scrap for die cutting
  • Gingham Cottage DSP cut two at 4″ x 4″ and one at 4″ x 1″
  • Very Vanilla cardstock cut at approximately 5″ x 4 1/2″ for die cutting
  • Pumpkin Pie & Cajun Craze cardstock for die cutting
  • Linen Thread for bundling

Start with the Crushed Curry card base and score at a 45 diagonal from top right corner down to the bottom. Take Gingham DSP and cut at the same diagonal and adhere on both sides of diagonal score line. Adhere DSP in the three places. Wrap the Linen Thread around the card base at the bookend and then adhere. Stamp and color your images with Watercolor Pencils using both sets to color the images. Then die cut using the Wheat Dies and Stampin’ Cut Emboss Machine. Adhere all die cuts using your favorite adhesive and Stampin’ Dimensionals to prop up.

For the pop-up, I used the All That Dies & die cut one of each color in Very Vanilla & Crushed Curry. For the Very Vanilla, I stamped the little dotted image, die cut the wheat and adhered together with glue. Finally propping up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
