Hello and Welcome, all my stamping friends! For today’s blog post, The Edelweiss Flower – Flower of Friendship, features the sixth card of the series using the gorgeous Stampin’Up!® Wonderful World Designer Series Paper (DSP) and Stamp set Bundle. This bundle, from the July-August 2022 Sale-A-Bration catalog, is only available while supplies last. The Edelweiss Flower of Switzerland is an interesting Wiki read. I hope your enjoy the little tidbits & names of this flower and others in this remarkable bundle.

The Edelweiss Flower – Flower of Friendship – Measurements:

• Thick Basic White cardstock:
  • cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″ for the card base
  • scraps for sentiment & stamping
• Basic White cardstock 5 1/4″ x 4″ for embossing
• Wonderful World DSP, the Edelweiss Flower

Recipe

Take the Basic White cardstock with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing folder and run through Stampin’ Cut Emboss Machine. Adhere to front of card base. Stamp the vase from the Bottled Happiness stamp set using Daffodil Delight ink stamped off and fussy cut. Next stamp the sentiment from the Flowers Of Friendship stamp set. Fussy cut the flower from the Wonderful World DSP, add Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere everything to the front of card. Use Blending Brushes and Balmy Blue Classic Ink to add a little color around the flower. Finally, add the Brushed Brass Butterflies for a quick and easy card.
