Hello and Welcome, all my stamping friends! Today’s blog post, Sending Hugs On A Splendid Day, uses the Stampin’Up!® Splendid Day Suite Collection from the New Mini Catalog July-December 2022. This Suite Collection can be used in many different ways and for lots of occasions. The Splendid Day 12×12 Designer Series Paper (DSP) is beautiful with foils on one side and colors on the other side. This is Card #2 in a four card series.

Sending Hugs On A Splendid Day

Measurements:

• Basic White Thick cardstock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″ for the card base.
• Basic White Regular cardstock cut at 3 1/2″ x 4 1/4″
• Petal Pink cardstock cut at 1 1/2″ x 3 1/2″
• Calypso Coral cardstock cut at 5 1/4″ x 4″
• Soft Seafoam cardstock cut at 3 1/2″ x 4″
• Splendid Day DSP cut at 1 1/2″ x 2 1/2″
• Soft Seafoam Ribbon about 20″

Recipe:

• Start with Calypso Coral cardstock with the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder or another of your choice and run through your Stampin’ Cut Emboss Machine. Use White Craft Stampin’ Ink and a Blending Brush to go over the die cut image. Add the Soft Seafoam Ribbon around the Calypso Coral cardstock and tie a bow. Adhere to the Basic White Thick card base using your favorite adhesive.
• Stamp the leaf image using Tuxedo Memento Black ink on the Soft Seafoam & Petal Pink cardstocks and use the Splendid Stems Dies to cut out.
• Take Basic White Regular cardstock and use the Splendid Stems Dies to cut out leaves. Then stamp sentiment and fussy cut out with your snips.
• Finally, die cut the Splendid Day DSP using the half moon shape and use Stampin’ Dimensionals to prop up. Adhere all die cuts starting with the white, green and then pink using Stampin Dimensionals.
