Hello and Welcome, all my stamping friends! Today’s blog post, Much Love For A Splendid Day uses the Stampin’Up!® Splendid Day Suite Collection from the New 2022 July-December Mini Catalog. Measurements:

  • Soft Seafoam cardstock:
    • cut at 8 1/2″x 5 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″ for card base
    • cut at 4 1/4″x 2 1/2″ for die cutting
  • Basic White cardstock:
    • cut at 3″ x 4 1/2″ for stamping
    • cut at 3″ x 1 1/4″ for sentiment
  • Splendid Day DSP Paper cut at 3 1/4″ x 4 3/4″
  • Ribbon Soft Seafoam cut off about 8″

Recipe:

  • Start with Basic White cardstock:
    • Use Fresh Freesia & Pool Party Stampin’ Blends to start coloring lightly.
    • Go over the middle using the dark Fresh Freesia & Pool Party Stampin’ Blends for contrast.
    • Stamp two Bumblebees at the top using Fresh Freesia Ink & two more using Pool Party Ink.
  • Stamp the sentiment:
    • Using Fresh Freesia Ink and your Paper Snips to flag each end
    • Add Soft Seafoam Ribbon behind with Stampin’ Seal
    • Then add Stampin’ Dimensionals to prop up
  • Die cut two leaves with the Splendid Stems Dies in Soft Seafoam cardstock and run through the Stampin’ Cut Emboss Machine. Use Mini Glue Dots or your favorite adhesive to adhere behind the back of the sentiment letting them peak out.
  • Adhere the blended panel to the Splendid Day DSP using Stampin’ Seal.
  • Finally, add Stampin’ Dimensionals behind the DSP and adhere to the Soft Seafoam card base.
