All For Baby Sunshine & Rainbows Stampin’Up!®

Hello and Welcome, all my stamping friends. Today’s blog post, All For Baby Sunshine & Rainbows, I created this baby shower card featuring the Stampin’Up!® All For Baby Bundle and Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper (DSP). I wanted to create a theme for a baby’s room for a very special young lady. It was a challenge but I think it turned out quite well. Most of the items used for this card are only available through the end of this month from the Sale-A-Bration catalog. These are all items that can be earned free with qualifying orders from any current catalogs and or paper pumpkin kits, while supplies last. So one last chance.

The Card

For the Z fold card base, cut Soft Succulent cardstock at 4 1/4″ x 11″ and score twice at 5 1/2″ & 2 3/4″. Next for the layers, take Sunshine & Rainbows DSP cut one at 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ and two at 2 5/8″ x 2 3/4″. You can choose other DSP and sizes, whatever you want. I die cut the onesies using different patterns of the DSP and added hangers and a brad for each.

Cut for the Crib

The Crib

  • For the crib ends, use two Crumb Cake cardstock and four In Good Taste DSP, cut all six at 2 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ trim to 3 1/4″ after die cutting. I used the 2 5/8″ circle die and did a parcel die cut, then used my trimmer to cut the slats about 1/16″ to 1/8″.
  • Next for the vertical side rails, cut twenty strips each of In Good Taste DSP and ten strips each of Crumb Cake cardstock at 3/8″ x 2″.
  • Then for the top horizontal rails, cut four strips each of In Good Taste DSP and two strips each of Crumb Cake cardstock at 1/2″ x 4″ and score at 1/4″ each end.
  • Finally for the bottom horizontal rails, cut four strips each of In Good Taste DSP and two strips each of Crumb Cake cardstock at 3/4″ x 4″. Use the Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut out the bottom railings.
  • Lastly, assemble the crib ends and sides with a piece of DSP on the outsides and Crumb Cake in the middle to provide support.
  • To finish it all off with a mobile, I used star dies and Supple Shimmer Specialty Paper. Use your favorite dies and paper to make your own unique mobile.
  • You can also use punches instead of dies for ends and sides of the crib. Change your DSP and cardstock colors around to get the look you want; the possibilities are endless. Have fun and I’d love to see what you come up with.
