Using Watercolor Pencils to Make the Flowers Pop

For the base layer, I chose Abstract Beauty 4″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper (DSP) cut at 5 1/4″ x 4″ for the front of the card. Then take Basic White cardstock, cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″. Make another piece and cut to 2 5/8″ x 5/8″ for the sentiment. Next use Magenta Madness cardstock, ink stamp on the cardstock and color the flowers using Watercolor pencils. Take the white layer and use dimensionals to make it prop. Using the Layering Circles Dies, die cut the image and die cut another larger circle out of Basic White. Stamp the sentiment in Magenta Madness on Magenta Madness and cut 9/16″ x 2 3/8″. Adhere the 1st layer, then two die cuts together and with Dimensionals to prop up the flowers and sentiment. Finally, added a double bow using the Polished Pink Open Weave Ribbon.

Using the 1/2″ x 4″ strip of DSP left from the front for the inside (no scraps left behind), and die cut inside layer using the Scalloped Contours Dies which is totally optional.

I’m really enjoying using the Calming Camellia (HOST) stamp set it is just Gorgeous and the color options are endless as well as what can be done with it.
