Hello and Welcome! My name is JaNette Howard and I’m an Independent Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator in Burleson, Texas. This weeks blog posts will focus on Father’s Day cards. For today’s card, Handsomely And Well Suited, I chose the Handsomely Suited stamp set and Well Suited Suite, which includes the Well Suited Designer Series Paper (DSP). When you first you look at the Suite, you only think of things for men but, this suite can be used for everyone — men, women, children, weddings and the list goes on and on.

Handsomely And Well Suited

Start with a Cajun Craze card base, cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″. Die cut the collar with Cajun Craze also and the pocket handkerchief as well. Using your choice of the Well Suited DSP, I chose tweed, cut at 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″. Die cut using the V-shape Lapel die and the Pocket die. I also used Basic Black cardstock behind the lapel, pocket and buttons as a sharp outline. Use another DSP pattern and cut the tie using the Tie die. I used a scrap of Basic White cardstock and Stampin Blend Ivory to color the neck and Silver & Clear Epoxy Essentials for the tie clasp.

Once I gathered the pieces together, I adhered everything to the card front using Multipurpose glue. For inside the card, use Basic White cardstock cut at 5 1/4″ x 4″, stamp a sentiment and adhere to the card interior. You’re done!

This is a fantastic stamp set to have for so many occasions. The DSP is retiring June 30, 2021 or while supplies last in the January-June mini catalog. The stamp and die set will carry over in the annual 2021-2022 catalog but not as a bundle with 10% off.
