Hello and Welcome! My name is JaNette Howard and I’m an Independent Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator in Burleson, Texas. Today’s card, Back On Your Feet / A Grand Kid, is created for our grandson who really messed up his knee this time. I hope this card puts a smile back on his face. This card features the Back On You’re Feet and A Grand Kid stamp sets.

Back On Your Feet / A Grand Kid

Start with Cinnamon Cider cardstock, cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″. Use Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper (DSP) cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″ and Just Jade cardstock cut at 4′ x 5 1/4″. For inside the card, take Basic White cardstock, cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″ and a leftover scrap of Basic White, about 3 1/4″ x 3 1/4″, to die cut the circle.

Line up the card base and DSP, then use the largest Layering Circles die and die cut. Take Just Jade cardstock, the Birds and More die (circle with leaves) and die cut. Leave the largest circle die out to use next.

Take the largest Layering Circle die again and cut out the Basic White circle. Then stamp the Sloth, from the Back On Your Feet stamp set using Memento Black ink. Color the Sloth with Soft Suede, Night Of Navy and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. Finally, use Multipurpose glue to adhere the 2 layers to the card base.

I stamped the sentiments using Memento Black ink. The sentiment on front comes from A Grand Kid stamp set and using the Messages Dies to cut it out and Dimensionals to prop up.
