Hello and Welcome! My name is JaNette Howard and I’m an Independent Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator in Burleson, Texas. Today’s card, Sweet As A Peach / You’re A Peach is all about peaches and the delicious You’re A Peach designer series paper (DSP). As I said before, I love this time of year when fresh sweet peaches arrive.

Sweet As A Peach / You’re A Peach

For the card base, I choose Calypso Coral cardstock, cut at 11″ x 4 1/4″ and scored at 5 1/2″. At one end of the card base cut off 2 3/4″, which will be used for the other direction. Then shape the corner tuck piece to 2 1/4″ x 2 1/4″ and square cut tip to tip for the diagonal. I choose 4 different designer series papers from You’re A Peach DSP:

• two (2) at 2 1/2″ x 4″, pay attention to the direction of your paper lol
• one (1) 2″ x 2″ square, cut tip to tip for the diagonal
• one (1) cut 4″ x 5 1/4″, for the inside

I also die cut a piece of Basic White cardstock, for the inside, using the Scalloped Contours Dies, 2nd from the largest. Then, I stamped the sentiment and left room for a personal message. For the sentiment on front, I die cut using the Scalloped Contours Dies again, the smallest one, and Calypso Coral cardstock and ink. Finally, I stamped the peach image using Pale Papaya ink and a dauber stamped in Calypso Coral ink and daubed around the edges and center for added depth. Then die cut out the peach and leaf.

This is really a simple card that uses straight cuts. I just wanted to add a little extra for the sentiment on the front and inside so I used the Scalloped Contours Dies but, all can be done with straight cuts.
