Campology / Beauty Of Friendship Stampin’Up!®
Hello and Welcome to our Stamp It Group Father’s Day Blog Hop! My name is JaNette Howard and you are visiting my blog – Let’s Get Inky. For today’s card, Campology / Beauty Of Friendship, features the Campology and Beauty of Friendship stamp sets. I chose a relaxing day out camping and having fun. Whether you’re starting from my blog or another blog on the tour, thank you for letting me share my card today.
Building the Base
Start with Misty Moonlight cardstock, cut at 4 1/4″ x 11′ and scored at 5 1/2″. Then for the second layer, use the new Bark 3D Embossing folder with Soft Suede cardstock and cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″. Ink up the embossing folder and run through the Stampin’ Cut & Embossing Machine. On to the third layer with Basic White cardstock, cut at 3 3/4″ x 5″.
The Trees
Stamp the group of trees in Old Olive ink from the Campology stamp set. Then the tree to the right from Beauty Of Friendship stamp set with Soft Suede Ink for the trunk and Garden Green ink for the tree. Switching back to the Campology stamp set, stamp the tent in Misty Moonlight ink on Crumb Cake cardstock. Tear the paper and add color for depth. I stamped the center tree in Crumb Cake ink on Crumb Cake cardstock and die cut using the Beautiful Tree Dies. Finally, die cut the birds out of Misty Moonlight cardstock using the Beautiful Trees Dies.
Inside the Card
I stamp the coffee pot inside the card from the, you guessed it, Campology stamp set. You gotta have coffee when you’re camping. I used Blending Brushes with Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight and Calypso Coral ink to color in the background.
At this time I would like to congratulate the winner of last month’s blog hop commenter. Congratulations to Marla Lesniak. I hope you enjoy You’re Amazing Kit.
