Spring in New Mexico Welcoming Window Stampin’Up!®
Hello and Welcome to Spring in New Mexico and to our Spring Fling Stamp It Group Blog Hop! My name is JaNette Howard and you are visiting my blog – Let’s Get Inky. I’m featuring the Welcoming Window Bundle. Whether you’re starting from my blog or another blog on the tour, thank you for letting me share my card today.
Today’s card reminds me of living in New Mexico with all the stucco/adobe homes. I chose some bright colors to show off this card.
I chose Basic Black CS for the card base cut at 4 1/4″ x 11″ and scored at 5 1/2″. For the second layer, I used Flower & Field DSP cut to 4″ x 5 1/4″. I pulled the Flower & Field DSP from the Sale A Bration catalog that can be earned as a qualifying free purchase until Feb. 28th, 2021. The Crushed Curry layer is 5″ x 3 3/4″. The Pumpkin Pie Layer is 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″. Using the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder, I ran it through the embossing machine to achieve the Stucco effect. I finished it with stamped and die cut flowers and pots.
Here’s a close up! I used window sheet for added effect of looking through the window.
Inside of card stamped image of pot and flower. I usually don’t put sentiments on my card’s till I’m ready to send them out and can personalize them for any occasion. I hope you enjoy today’s card and check back for more ideas for using this amazing set. Happy Stamping!
