Birds & Branches on Soft Seafoam Stampin’Up!®
Hello and Welcome! My name is JaNette Howard and I’m an Independent Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator in Burleson, Texas. For today’s card, Birds & Branches on Soft Seafoam, I chose the Birds & Branches stamp set, Birds & More Dies on Soft Seafoam cardstock because they go well together. The sentiments are from the Many Messages stamp set and Messages Dies.
Birds & Branches on Soft Seafoam
For the card base start with Soft Seafoam, cut at 4 1/4″ x 11″, and score at 5 1/2″. Then for the second layer, use the Birch Background stamp set, ink it up with the Crumb Cake ink pad and stamp on Very Vanilla cardstock. I love these choices of color because they blend together well. Likewise, use your favorite colors to achieve to your own look.
Cut the second layer down to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and use the largest circle die from the Layering Circles Dies to cut the center. Subsequently. adhere to the front layer. The cutout left over will be used for inside the card. I look for ways to use the extra pieces, because I am frugal. Line up the circle branch with the circle cutout and run through the die machine. Stamp the bird images, eggs & nest, then color them using Stampin’ Blends.
Use the Birds and More Dies to cut them out and glue and dimensionals to adhere and attach to the card. Finally, stamp and die cut the sentiment and add an extra piece in Soft Seafoam cardstock to prop it up, then put a bow on it to wrap it up! As a result, using multiple layers for your sentiment will help your messages stand out.
