Hello and Welcome! My name is JaNette Howard and I’m an Independent Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator in Burleson, Texas. Today’s card, Sweet Ice Cream & Cute Fruit, uses the Sweet Ice Cream & Cute Fruit stamp sets. Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper (DSP) by Stampin’Up!® provides an abstract effect. I scream, you scream we all scream for Ice Cream!!!

Sweet Ice Cream & Cute Fruit

For this fun A-2 Pop-Up card, I chose Bumblebee cardstock cut at 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ & scored at 4 1/4″. For the 2nd layer, I used Ice Cream Corner DSP cut at 5 1/4″ x 4″. I used the Layering Ovals Dies to cut the DSP bowl for the banana split. Then I stamped and punched the ice cream using the Sweet Ice Cream Bundle and Stitched So Sweetly Dies. To finish, I added Gingham Ribbon and adhered everything down. Hop on down for the Pop-Up!

For the card inside, use Basic White cardstock cut at 8 1/4″ x 5 1/4″ and score at 4 1/16″. On each side of the score line, move in 1 1/4″, cut a slit 1″ down on both sides. Then score and push the center cut inside the card for the Pop-Up.

Stamp all the sprinkles, jimmies and sentiment. Cut a couple of 1″ x 2 3/4″ strips of DSP for sprinkles, a Window Sheet for the banana split bowl. Stamp, cut with oval dies and punch out scoops of ice cream for your choice of flavors. Stamp and fuzzy cut the bananas from the soon to be retired Cute Fruit stamp set. For the hot fudge topping, use Early Espresso Stampin’ Write marker and add Shimmery Crystal Effects for a glossy finish. Use glue dots to hold everything together and add dimensionals to the strawberry scoop on top of the other scoops. These are the best Banana Splits, no calories lol.
