Hello and Welcome! My name is JaNette Howard and I’m an Independent Stampin’ Up Demonstrator in Burleson, Texas. Today’s card, Woodland Wonder & Pinewood Planks, is a slimline fun card for many occasions, using the Woodland Wonder stamp set and Pinewood Planks embossing folder. This is my second card using the Woodland Wonder stamp set. If you would like to see my first card, please read to the end for the link below.

Woodland Wonder & Pinewood Planks

Slimline cards can come in many different sizes from mini to large. I chose the more traditional size, 7 1/2″ x 9″ to fit into a business envelope. As the card base, start with Granny Apple Green cardstock, cut at 3 3/4″ x 9″ & scored at 3 3/4″. Then for the second layer, use Crumb Cake cardstock, cut at 3 1/2″ x 8 3/4″, and run it through the an embossing machine using the Pinewood Planks 3D embossing folder. Use the Stamparatus to line up the stamps and then stamp all the images in Memento Black ink.

Coloring Options

I used several colors of Stampin Blends for quick coloring, see list below for colors. There are also many coloring options to choose from, such as our watercolor pencils, stampin write markers, & ink pads. Just choose what you enjoy to color with or experiment with some of the other coloring options.
