Hello and Welcome! For today’s card, Butterfly Brilliance & Brilliant Wings 3, I just can’t get enough of the gorgeous Butterfly Brilliance stamp set & Brilliant Wings Dies by Stampin’Up!®. There’s so many possibilities with this bundle and die combination. So I will continue exploring more cards and projects. You can only get Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Papers (DSP) through May 3rd 2021 or while supplies last. The Butterfly Brilliance stamps and Brilliant Wings dies will be in the new annual catalog.

Butterfly Brilliance & Brilliant Wings 3 – Prep and Assemble

Start with a Mango Melody card base, cutting at 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, and scored at 4 1/4″. Take Dandy Garden 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper (DSP) and Basic White cardstock, cut both at 4″ x 5 1/4″ with the DSP for the card front and cardstock for the card inside. To make the Popup, you will need more Mango Melody cardstock, cut at 3″ x 4″ scored at 1″, 2″, 3″ on the 4″ side and 3/4″ x 2 1/4″ scored at 1 1/4″ .

Using whichever shaped dies fit the feature you want, I chose the Stitched Shapes Dies. You can die cut the butterflies out of the DSP or stamp and color them. I stamped a butterfly and colored with Stampin’ Blends. Then die cut the detailed Butterfly in the matching Mango Melody with plenty of Wink of Stella. It’s hard to see in the photo, but once you use it, you can’t put it down.

Adhere your DSP layer along the sides and not in the middle as you will be die cutting the center out using the solid cardstock. Add your inside layer first and then the popup mechanism. Strip the oval from the die cutout. Again, I cased the card idea from Dawn, but used different colors, stamps and dies.
