Hello and Welcome! Today’s card is Oval Occasions & Itty bitty Greetings by Stampin’Up!®. Well with Easter around the corner and less than a month away, it’s time to get thinking about Easter Cards and Projects.

Oval Occasions & Itty Bitty Greetings – Preparation

Let the Designer Series Paper (DSP) do most of the work on this card. Starting with a Standard A2 card, I used Just Jade cardstock for the base, cut at 4 1/4″ x 11″ and scored at 5 1/2″. For the next layer, I picked Pear Pizzazz cardstock, cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″. Then the third layer, I took Soft Seafoam cardstock, cut at 3 3/4″ x 5″ and ran it with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder and ran it through the embossing machine. The final layer uses the Forever Greenery DSP and the Stitched So Sweetly Dies to make a frame.

Assembly

Before gluing the layers together, I added the ribbon to the DSP. After I glued the layers together, I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop up the frame. Next came the the bunnies and sentiment followed by using the Double Oval Punch, Layering Oval Dies and popping it up. The sentiment came from the Itty Bitty Greetings & the Messages Dies and finally it up as well. The use of Dimensionals can make your cards stand out in 3D fashion.
