Rustic Crate Planters For My Poinsettias
Hello and Welcome, all my stamping friends! Today’s blog, Rustic Crate Planters For My Poinsettias, uses the Stampin’ Up!® Rustic Crate Bundle and Regals Designer Series Paper (DSP). This is the 3rd card of 3 using this bundle. This is a versatile set for Christmas’s today. Are you a traditional color person?
Measurements – Rustic Crate Planters For My Poinsettias
- Cherry Cobbler cardstock cut at 5 1/4″ x 4″
- Shaded Spruce cardstock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″
- Regals DSP cut at 5 1/4″ x 3″
- Basic White cardstock cut at 5 1/4″ x 4″ fpr inside card
- Basic White cardstock cut at 3 1/4″ x 2 1/2″ plus more for stamping & die cutting
- Real Red & Burlap Ribbon cut at 4 1/2″ each
- Early Espresso cardstock for die cutting
- Pecan Pie cardstock for die cutting
Directions
- Emboss with the Distressed Tile 3D embossing folder and Cherry Cobbler cardstock then run through the Stampin’cut Emboss Machine. Adhere to Shaded Spruce card base.
- Adhere Regals DSP to Cherry Cobbler layer using your favorite adhesive.
- Stamp poinsettia image using Memento Black ink and color using Cherry Cobbler & Shaded Spruce stampin’ blends. Then die cut.
- Die cut Basic White cardstock using Nested Essentials Dies. Color using blending brush & Cherry Cobbler ink to add a little color. Adhere to DSP layer on card front. Die cut crate and color using Pecan Pie & Early Espresso stampin’ blends. Adhere to Basic White die cut.
- Add ribbon on card front. Stamp sentiment from Merriest Trees stamp set using Versamark ink & Cherry Cobbler ink then use Clear Embossing Powder. Set with Heat Tool, and prop up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Lastly add Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
