It’s time for a simple card using Stampin’Up!® In The Pines bundle. Hello and Welcome! Today I’m sharing a quick and simple card using the In The Pines Bundle.

Getting The In The Pines Simple Card Ready

I chose Balmy Blue cardstock as my base, cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″.

Then using Shimmery White cardstock, cut at 5 1/4″ x 4″. First cut an oval on the left half using a medium oval die and set aside to be used later for the tree. Next run the cardstock through the die cutting machine using the Winter Snow Embossing Folder.

Using a Green Foil sheet, run it through the die cutting machine with the largest of the Oval ruffled dies. Taking the white oval from the first step, I ran it through the die cutting machine with the Pinewood Die for the tree.

Assembing The In The Pines Simple Card

Using Whisper White cardstock for the inside layer, cut at 5 1/4″ x 4″. For the trees, I used a tree stamp from In The Pines stamp set and stamped the tree images with Old Olive (base) and Pear Pizzazz (overlay) ink pads. For the sentiment “Thinking of You”, I stamped it with Memento Black ink on Whisper White cardstock, layered onto a strip of Balmy Blue.

To assemble the card, I adhered the Green Foil oval onto the Whisper White cardbase, covering the oval cut, then adhered it to the Balmy Blue card front. and adhered the inside layer to the inside of the card. Using Stampin’ Dimensionals, I propped up the Oval Die cut Tree and the sentiment to the finished card.
