Stamp It Group – Mother’s Day Blog Hop!
Hello and Welcome to our Stamp It Group – Mother’s Day Blog Hop! My name is JaNette Howard and you are visiting my blog – Let’s Get Inky – JaNette Howard. Whether you’re starting from my blog or another blog on the tour, thank you for letting me share my card with you today. Today’s post features the Stampin’ Up!® Places In The Heart stamp set and the Basics Embossing folders.
Measurements – Stamp It Group – Mother’s Day Blog Hop!
- Early Espresso cardstock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″
- Gorgeous Grape cardstock cut two at 3 1/2″ x 5″
- Crumb Cake cardstock cut one at 4 1/4″ x 2 3/4″ and one at 4 1/2″ x 3 1/4″
- Vellum cut at 3 3/4″ x 2 1/2″
Instructions:
Start with stamping the image using Crumb Cake ink on Vellum. Set aside to dry, then after drying, die cut with the Deckled Rectangles Dies.
Take the cardstock pieces with the Deckled Rectangles Dies, die cut all the layers using the Stampin’ Cut Emboss Machine.
Take one Gorgeous Grape piece with the Basics 3D Embossing Folder and run through Stampin’ Cut Emboss Machine.
Stamp the sentiments using Crumb Cake ink and Versamark ink. Cover with Clear Embossing Powder and set with the Heat Tool. After cooling, die and fussy cut using your Paper Snips.
Next adhere the Gorgeous Grape layer to the Early Espresso card base using your favorite adhesive. Then adhere the stamped Vellum image to the Crumb Cake layer. Place Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of Crumb Cake and adhere on the embossed Gorgeous Grape layer.
Lastly, use Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack to tie a bow and adhere with a glue dot. Then adhere the sentiment with a Stampin’ Dimensional.

What a pretty color combo, one I would never have thought to use. I will give this one a go for sure. Your card and layout are so nice. The Deckled Rectangle Dies were just the right touch.
