Hello and Welcome, all my stamping friends! It’s been rainy and gloomy weather around here today but, I am very thankful for the rain. I think this card is perfect for this kinda day. Today’s blog, A Plump Bluebird Perched In Aspen Woods, features the Stampin’ Up® Perched In A Tree stamp set and Aspen Tree Dies.

Measurements – A Plump Bluebird Perched In Aspen Woods

• Crumb Cake cardstock cut at 11″ x 4 1/4″ and score at 5 1/2″
• Basic White cardstock
  • cut two at 5 1/4″ x 4″
    • one for die cut
    • one for inside card
  • more for stamping
• Pale Papaya cardstock for die cutting
• So Saffron cardstock for die cutting
• Boughs Of Holly Designer Series Paper (DSP) cut at 5 1/4″ x 4″

Starting with the Crumb Cake card base, stamp the spotted image along the edges using Crumb Cake ink. Next Stamp and color the bird using your favorite medium and colors. Die cut the Aspen Tree on Basic White & die cut the leaves from Pale Papaya and So Saffron cardstocks. Adhere the Boughs Of Holly DSP & Aspen Die cut together and adhere to cardbase. Add dimensionals to the back of the leaves & bird to prop up and place on front of card.

Stamp a sentiment and the bird outline on Basic White cardstock (5 1/4″ x 4″) using Crumb Cake ink for inside of card.
