Hello and Welcome, all my stamping friends! Today’s blog, Sweetest Christmas Pepperment Candy Canes, is all about candy canes, what’s your favorite flavor? My husband’s is peppermint, spearmint and then wintergreen. This is Card #2 which features the Stampin’ Up!® Sweet Candy Canes Bundle, including the Sweet Candy Canes Stamp Set and Candy Canes Dies.

Measurements – Sweetest Christmas Pepperment Candy Canes

• Real Red cardstock cut at:
  • 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 3″ & 4 1/4″
  • 3″ x 1 1/2″
• Sweet Christmas Designer Series Paper (DSP) cut at:
  • 5 1/4″ x 1″
  • 2 1/2″ x 1 3/4″
• Snowy White Velvet Sheets cut at 5 1/4″ x 2 3/4″
• Basic White cardstock cut at:
  • 5 1/4″ x 2 3/4″
  • 4″ x 5″

Starting with the Whimsical Woodland 3D Embossing Folder & one Snowy White Velvet Sheet, run through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. Adhere to card base and add one Wonderful Snowflake close to the bottom. Take the Sweet Christmas DSP (5 1/4″ x 1″) and adhere to the lefthand side of card base.

Using the Tea Cup Dies & Sweet Christmas DSP die cut the cup background. Then using Shimmer White cardstock, die cut the detailed cup and adhere to both cups together. Stamp the candy canes first in Versamark ink then with Real Red ink. Cover with Clear Embossing Powder and set using the Heat Tool, then let cool and die cut.

Using several Stampin’ Dimensionals for the Candy Canes & Cup to adhere on top of the Snowflake. Tie a bow using using the Real Red & Garden Green Ribbon Combo Pack, 8″-10″ should do, and attach with a Glue Dot. Lastly, add Adhesive Backed Seasonal Sequins for bling.

For the Candy Cane Holder, take the Real Red cardstock (3″ x 1 1/2″), stamp with Versamark ink and sprinkle White Embossing powder. Set with the Heat Tool and die cut using Candy Cane dies.

Stamp the candy cane & sentiment on Basic White cardstock (5 1/4″ x 2 3/4″) and adhere to inside of card.
