Hello and Welcome, all my stamping friends! Today’s blog, Sweetest Christmas Wintergreen Candy Canes, is all about candy canes, what’s your favorite flavor? Mine is definitely wintergreen, then spearmint and then peppermint. This is Card #1 which features the Stampin’ Up!® Sweet Candy Canes Bundle, including the Sweet Candy Canes Stamp Set and Candy Canes Dies.

Measurements – Sweetest Christmas Wintergreen Candy Canes

• Garden Green cardstock cut at:
  • 11″ x 4 1/4″ and score at 5 1/2″
  • 3″ x 1 1/2″
• Sweetest Christmas Designer Series Paper (DSP) cut at:
  • 5 1/4″ x 4″
  • 4″ x 2″
• Basic White cardstock cut at:
  • 5 1/4″ x 4″
  • 3″ x3″
  • 4″ x 3″

Start by layering the DSP on the Garden Green card base. Stamp the candy canes first in Versamark ink then with Garden Green ink. Cover with Clear Embossing Powder and set using the Heat Tool, then let cool and die cut. Using the Stylish Shapes dies, cut Basic White cardstock (3″ x 3″) add Dimensionals to the candy canes and adhere to the diamond shape. Next, adhere to the DSP. Add Adhesive Backed Seasonal Sequins.

For the candy cane holder, take the Garden Green cardstock (3″ x 1 1/2″) stamp with Versamark ink and sprinkle White Embossing powder. Set with the Heat Tool and die cut using Candy Cane dies.

Stamp the sentiment and candy cane on the inside Basic White layer and adhere to inside card base.
