Hello and Welcome, all my stamping friends. Today’s blog post, Adorable Koala – Wild and Sweet, features the Stampin’Up!® Wild & Sweet and Forever Fern Stamp Sets. I created this card for a Card Swap. There are two other images that I’ll be sharing in the days ahead from this set. Yes they are all Adorable!

Adorable Koala – Wild and Sweet

Recipe:

• Card Base: Evening Evergreen cardstock, cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″
• Second Layer: Soft Succulent cardstock, cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″ and use the Fabulous Frames Dies and run through the Stampin Cut and Embossing Machine
• Third Layer: Basic White cardstock cut at 2 1/2″ x 3 3/4″ and use the Rectangle Stitched Framelet Dies
• Inside Card: Basic White cardstock cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″

On the Soft Succulent frame, stamp leaves from the Forever Fern stamp set using Soft Succulent classic ink. Adhere the small panel to the card front. For the frame part, use Black Stampin’ Dimensionals to prop up the frame. Stamp the Koala using Memento Black ink on the Basic White Stitched Rectangle frame as shown. Use Soft Succulent, Smoky Slate, 2022 – 2024 In Color Stampin Blends (Orchid Oasis, Parakeet Party, Starry Sky, Sweet Sorbet, Tahitian Tide) to color the Koala image. Adhere to the center of the frame. This card is quick and easy, but yet adds a little complexity. I really had so much fun with it.
