Hello and Welcome, all my stamping friends. Today’s blog post, Let’s Hit The Waves, uses the Stampin’Up!® Waves Of The Ocean Collection. When I first saw this set it reminded me of a old movie where they were surfing. So this is what I came up with except I left off the surfboard.

Supplies:

  • Waves Of The Ocean 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper (1 March-2 May or while supplies last)
  • Blue Foils 12″ x 12″ Specialty Paper (1 March-2 May or while supplies last)
  • Waves Of Inspiration stamp set
  • Waves Dies
  • Rhinestone Waves Basic Jewels (1 March-2 May or while supplies last)
  • Night of Navy cardstock
  • Coastal Cabana cardstock
  • Crumb Cake cardstock
  • Basic White cardstock
  • Crumb Cake classic ink pad
  • Memento black ink
  • Pacific Point classic ink pad
  • Coastal Cabana classic ink pad
  • Night Of Navy classic ink pad
  • Stitched Rectangle Dies
Let's Hit The Waves
Let’s Hit The Waves – Inside of card & bellyband

Start with a Night of Navy card base, cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 2 1/8″ & 6 1/4″. Use Coastal Cabana cardstock cut at 7 1/8″ x 5 1/4″ and score at 4 1/8″, 4 13/16″, 5 5/8″, 6 3/8″ fold up to make box. Stamp the wave images in Coastal Cabana ink and use daubers to add other colors. After stamping waves adhere inside panel and add the die cut waves in Night Of Navy & Silver cardstock on top of stamped waves and add the Coastal Cabana wave to the box part inside. Stamp the pelican with Crumb Cake ink, die cut and adhere to Crumb Cake cardstock, die cut using Stitched Rectangle Dies for belly band, 1/2″ x 10″.
