Flowering Fields In Good Taste Stampin’Up!®

Hello and Welcome, all my stamping friends. Today I’m sharing a fun fold card, Flowering Fields In Good Taste, using the Flowering Fields Collection and In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (DSP). The Windmill is from Windmill Fields Dies and Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper (DSP). I love Windmills and this one reminded me of one that my children gave me a long time ago. I displayed it by our pond outside. The elements finally wore it down and is no more. So when this collection became available I was so excited. I hope you enjoy this card.

Using the Flowering Fields Collection (What a bargain!), start with die cutting the windmill, as you see in the diagram above. I chose to cut 2 of each, which was my preference. You do not have to. Then I used the Tailor Made Tags Dies to cut the little circles. They fit great on the blades of the Windmill where the hole is located. Acting as washers, I glued 2 on the front & 2 on the back so the blades would move more freely. I made the blades two-ply for added strength.

For the card itself, take a Petal Pink card base, cut at 6 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 2 1/4″. Choose your favorite DSP, I chose 3 different patterns. Make the flap on the side of card for a closure. Finally. add stampin dimensionals to left side of windmill, so the closure can slip under the windmill.
