Hello and Welcome, all my stamping friends. Today, I’m sharing a card called Really Red Calming Camellia which features the Stampin’Up!® Calming Camellia Host Stamp Set and Real Red Classic ink. I’ll be sharing several cards over the nest several days using sets from the Sale-a-bration catalog. These are all items that can be earned free with qualifying orders from any current catalogs and or paper pumpkin kits.

Really Red Calming Camellia

Start with a Real Red card base, cut 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″ and cut another at 2 3/4″ x 4″. Then take Basic White cardstock, cut 2 pieces at 1- 4″ x 5 1/4″ & 1- 2 1/2″ x 3 3/4″. Using a Glue Dot to hold both together and stamps from Calming Camellia stamp set, stamp the flower image 2 times in Real Red ink and the leaf images 3 times in Soft Succulent ink. With a Blending Brush add a little Balmy Blue ink to tone down the white space. This technique is called Double-Time Stamping.

Twist the 2 stamped cards apart I then adhere the larger piece to the card base and the smaller piece to the 2nd Real Red card base. Line them up with the first one and adhere it. Stamp a sentiment of your choice. I propped mine up and added a bow using the Real Red Mini Ruffled Ribbon.
