Reflected In Nature-Welcoming Woods Stampin’Up!®

Hello and Welcome! My name is JaNette Howard and I’m an Independent Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator in Burleson, Texas. Today’s card, Reflected In Nature-Welcoming Woods, features the Stampin’Up!® Reflected In Nature & Welcoming Woods Stamp Sets. Today’s theme is Winter. When the August heat gets you down, it’s refreshing to know that cooler weather is not far away. I hope you have enjoyed the cards I’ve shared with this set and from the others from the new Sale-a-bration catalog (3 August-30 September2021).

I Can Definitely See Myself In This Peaceful Place!

Reflected In Nature-Welcoming Woods

Start with a Misty Moonlight card base, cut at 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″. For the second layer, take Night Of Navy cardstock 4″ x 5 1/4″, stamp the Welcoming Woods Stamp Set image with VersaMark ink and sprinkle White Embossing Powder and heat with Heat Tool. Then for the third layer, take Basic White cardstock large enough for the scene and reflection. Stamp the winter scene from Reflected In Nature Stamp set in Night Of Navy ink. For the reflection, invert the stamp, stamp off on scrap paper before stamping to get the reflected effect.

Finishing The Card

For the sentiment, I stamped with Night Of Navy ink on Basic White cardstock, cut at 1 7/8″ x 7/8″ with a background of Night Of Navy cardstock cut at 2″ x 1″. I fussy cut the edges of the reflected image to get an irregular edge. Adhere all layers as shown with Multipurpose Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals to prop up the image. Finally, I put a bow on it using the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack (3) and Silver & Clear Epoxy Essentials.
