Hand-Penned Petals In Blushing Bride Stampin’Up!®
Hello and Welcome! My name is JaNette Howard and I’m an Independent Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator in Burleson, Texas. Today’s card, or should I say this week’s cards, Hand-Penned Petals In Blushing Bride, focuses on Designer Series Paper On Sale thru 2 August. This card can be created quick and easy with the focus of using DSP. I hope you have enjoyed these cards that I’ve shared from this suite this week and will give them a try.
Hand-Penned Petals In Blushing Bride
Start with a Blushing Bride card base, cut at 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″. On the 5 1/2″ side, cut at 1 1/4″ and 4 1/4″ as shown below. For the layers, use Flirty Flamingo (2 each cut at 4″ x 1 1/8″) and (1 at 2 7/8″ x 4″). For the remaining layers use DSP (2 each at 1″ x 3 7/8″) and (1 at 2 3/4″ x 3 7/8″). Adhere all layers to front of card base. Stamp the sentiment on Basic White cardstock in Blushing Bride ink and die cut using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. Add Stampin’ Dimensional, bow and gems to front center panel.
For the inside of the card, use the reverse side of the DSP and cut at 1 1/4″ x 4″. Die cut each side scallop using the Penned Flower Dies. Then take Basic White cardstock and cut at 2 7/8″ x 4″. Finally, stamp one of the flower images in Blushing Bride ink. Adhere all together with glue to the inside.
