Hand – Penned Highland Heather Stampin’Up!®

Hello and Welcome! My name is JaNette Howard and I’m an Independent Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator in Burleson, Texas. Today’s card, or should I say this week’s cards, Hand – Penned Highland Heather, are focusing on Designer Series Paper that are on sale thru 2 August. This fun card is a book fold card that can be recreated very easy.

Hand – Penned Highland Heather

Start with a Highland Heather card base, cut at 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″ and 5 1/4″. For the second layer, take Daffodil Delight and cut at 3 7/8″ x 5 3/8″ & 7/8″ x 5 3/8″. Then for the third layer, use Hand – Penned DSP and cut at 2 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ & 7/8″ x 5 1/8″. Stamp the sentiment on Basic White cardstock using Highland Heather classic ink and punch out using the Double Oval Punch. Sponge the edges with the same ink and use Stampin’ Dimensionals to prop up and add to front of card.

For inside of card, cut a piece of Basic White cardstock, cut at 3 7/8″ x 5 3/8″ and use dies from Penned Flowers Dies. Die cut the scalloped edge and adhere to the inside of card. Finally, adhere card layers together and add Fresh Freesia Ribbon to the DSP and back of Daffodil Delight then adhered to card base. I added Genial Gems to the card front.
