Hand-Penned Bundle & Petals Suite Stampin’Up!®
Hello and Welcome! My name is JaNette Howard and I’m an Independent Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator in Burleson, Texas. Today’s card, Hand-Penned Bundle & Petals Suite, features the amazing Hand-Penned Suite Collection. Which are special, since they includes the new beautiful Hand-Penned Design Series Paper (DSP). I’m showcasing these new products from our new 2021 – 2022 Annual Catalog, that went online this week!
Hand-Penned Bundle & Petals Suite
Starting with Basic Black cardstock, cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″. Using 2 different colors of Hand-Penned DSP, cut first strip at 3/8′ x 5 1/4″ and second strip at 3/4″ x 5 1/4″. I love this DSP, since there is such a variety of patterns and colors, you will be amazed at your choices. Take the Penned Flowers Dies for the scalloped edge and die cut the flower. The scalloped edge can move your card from so-so to breathtaking.
Use the Memento Black Ink Pad to stamp the flower on Basic White cardstock, then Fresh Freesia & Soft Succulent Ink Pads to stamp the inside flower and leaves. I like how the Fresh Freesia & Soft Succulent consequently brings color to the Black & White. Find a scrap of Basic Black cardstock and stamp the sentiment with VersaMark Ink. Sprinkle White Embossing Powder on the VersaMark Ink and set with the Heat Tool. Using neat tricks, like the VersaMark Ink & Embossing Powder, gives you more tools for your toolbox.
Conclusion
The Hand-Penned bundle can make for quick and easy cards, using the wonderful DSP and two-stamp stamping. Or, you can choose to color the images in with your choice of mediums, like Stampin Blends, and take your cards to another level entirely.
