Whiskey Business / Many Messages Stampin’Up!®

Hello and Welcome! My name is JaNette Howard and I’m an Independent Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator in Burleson, Texas. For today’s card, Whiskey Business / Many Messages, I cased this card from my upline Tami White. Today’s card features the Whiskey Business and Many Messages stamp sets by Stampin’Up!®. I changed the colors and a few other things to make it my own. This magic card can be made with so many other sets and is so much fun. I hope you give it a try, soon!

Whiskey Business / Many Messages – Preparation

For the card base, I started with Misty Moonlight cardstock cut at 11″ x 4 1/4″ and scored at 5 1/2″. The 2nd layer uses In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (DSP) cut at 5 1/4″ x 4″. Use the Rectangle Stitched Framelets Dies to cut out the window and add the frame. Use two (2) Basic White cardstock pieces, cut at 5″ x 3 3/4″, one for the colored image and one for the pull tab. Select another piece of Basic White cut at 1/2″ x 3 5/16″ and a Window Sheet cut at 5″ x 3 3/4″. Finally, collect scraps of Basic White and other colors you may choose for sentiments and the pull tab topper.

Stamp the top of the topper, with the Many Messages stamp set sentiments of your choice. Then stamp the pull tab on both sides, fold in half and adhere with tear n tape. Use the 1/2″ x 3 5/16″ strip to adhere to the back of the pull card to keep it from coming out of the card. Make sure to cut a slit in the top of the card base, for the width of the pull tab, to allow it to easily travel up and down.

Stamp the image of your choice, first on the Basic White using Memento Black Ink Pad and then on the window sheet laid on top using Stazon Black Ink Pad. Make sure your images are lined up to match through the layers. Use your Stamparatus for this step and also use your blocks. Finally, clean your stamp with Stampin’ Mist Stamp Cleaner and the Stampin’ Scrub. It’s important to keep your items fresh and clean for the next project.

  1. The anniversary card is awesome! You did some fine work on that one. But then it was for a fine anniversary!!!

  2. Hi I was just wondering how you made your canter stand up on the bar can’t figure it out there was no reference to how you did that thank you so much in advance

    1. Hey Sharon, I just took a scrap of basic white close to the height of the decanter and made a score line probably about 1/4″ toward the bottom. Adhere to back of decanter and the scored part adhere to bar top. If you lock at the picture of the decanter you will see at the bottom where I attached it. Hope this helps.
